π DAY: Hackberry Pi!

We supply the Raspberry Pis and Pies. You build something cool in 3.14 days. This event is a 3.14 day hackathon where teams work together on a project revolving around the Raspberry Pi! There will be beginner, intermediate and advanced workshops throughout for participants to learn about how to use the Pi, as well as helpful mentors to guide participants! At the end of the hackathon (Friday, March 18), there will be prizes and an exhibition. If you create an interesting project - you get to keep the Pi! CMU Undergraduate students only: Register! Aditya Agarwala graduated from CMU completing an Integrated Masters/Bachelors from ECE in 2008-2009. Since then, he's been with the software infrastructure team at Bloomberg LP helping build and drive the technology behind the industry’s leading financial software provider. He's an active member of CMU’s alumni community in NYC and a leader for Bloomberg's CMU recruiting team. He's a technology enthusiast and loves tinkering with pretty much anything. His current projects include setting up a full home automation and theater system for his new home and helping with image processing for the FIRST robotics team he mentors. Zhiquan "ZQ" Yeo is a software engineer at Bloomberg LP, with a penchant for breaking things (and putting them back together. Kinda). Prior to Bloomberg, he worked at Disney Research Pittsburgh on next-generation sensing systems. While not writing regular software, ZQ builds robots for fun, some harmless, others... not so much. He also mentors a FIRST Robotics team, teaching students the basics of electronics and robot programming. Finally, he thinks that raspberry piEs are delicious. Facebook
