JSON Relational Duality is a breakthrough capability that combines the best aspects of the Document model and the Relational models without the drawbacks of either model. This session will provide an overview and deep dive into the inner workings of JSON Relational Duality. We will also discuss some of the benefits of being able to easily access data in terms of Application Objects, while retaining the full power of the Relational Model (which includes support for JSON documents as well) as the underlying storage model. — Tirthankar Lahiri is Senior Vice President of Mission-Critical Data and AI Engines at Oracle. He has a B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Kharagpur and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and holds 66 patents. In Person and Zoom Participation. See announcement.
