Our goal is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and generate ideas on how AI can help solve societal problems, particularly from an angle of decision-making. These sessions are intended for graduate and undergraduate students to connect, share ideas, and collaborate on AI-related projects. This week, we will host members of a team at CMU that is developing a digital simulation of disaster response management in collaboration with the American Red Cross. Frieda Chen (Master's student, Integrated Innovation Institute), Mandy Dai (Master's student, Electrical & Computer Engineering), and Samuel Dinesh (Master's student, Information Networking Institute) are part of the team working on a tool that will not only enhance training for disaster response volunteers but also serve as a cutting-edge research tool for exploring human decision-making and teaming with AI agents. Please join us to learn more about this impactful project. RSVP → to anticipate a headcount for lunch In Person and Zoom Participation. See announcement. Add event to Google Add event to iCal
