The patent process can be confusing at best and overwhelming at worst. This presentation aims to cut through the confusion and provide a clear, actionable understanding of how to protect your innovations. — Frank Lamar manages the Cloud Privacy Operations and Engineering tooling team at Google. The team is responsible for architecting and implementing privacy-enhancing features for Google Cloud Platform. Under Frank's leadership the team has been issued 5 patents and produced one defensible publication. Frank has previously led engineering teams at Delta Air Lines and The Home Depot. Frank is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and a current CMU Privacy Engineering MSIT student.
