AI & Disinformation Summit

The CMU Center for Informed Democracy & Social - cybersecurity (IDeaS) is hosting a summit on AI & Disinformation, with invited faculty and experts throughout the US. The summit is being run by Dr. Kathleen M. Carley, professor in the computer science department and Director for the Center for Computational Analysis of Social and Organizational Systems.

The goal of the summit is time to take stock of the state of the field, identify gaps, and share insights to foster the next decade of research and practice in this area. The events includes series of panels and guided general discussions. The outcome of this summit will be a brief on the state of the art in the area, and a discussion of identified research gaps.

REGISTER for virtual participation.  No registration is needed for in-person participants. 

     ⇒  Panels will be livestreamed during the event but Q&A will not be available for those attending virtually.
