The Home Depot's "Fourth Growth Chapter": Building for the Future

Join President Farnam Jahanian and Decker for a distinguished lecture and fireside chat with Ted Decker, Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer, The Home Depot.

Ted Decker became The Home Depot’s CEO in 2022 while the world was recovering from a global pandemic, yet today might be the most challenging time for him at the helm of the company. While the global pandemic ultimately provided opportunities for The Home Depot to expand its retail footprint as well as rethink the customer experience online, today he leads the company through an extremely high-pressure environment in the U.S.—and the most difficult housing environment since 2009. Ted will discuss how The Home Depot is continuing to grow its core business during a frozen housing market and how he is unlocking new ways to for the company to be innovative and reach new customers. This includes growing its offerings for the $1T Pro market, as well as creating new opportunities through technological innovation, including AI.
