Making the World Computable: from Foundations to Technology (for Humans and AIs)

Stephen Wolfram is the creator of Mathematica, a scientific computing platform used by thousands of engineers and scientists worldwide. He is the CEO of Wolfram Research, a software and technology consulting company that serves industry, government, and academia. Wolfram holds a PhD in physics from the California Institute of Technology and is a MacArthur Fellow. He last visited CMU over 30 years ago.
